Library Thing
Library Thing is very informative as well as an interactive approach to literacy. I like the "cloud" feature and the ability to find books in more ways than the title and author.
Delicious
Delicious seems like a great tool for you to receive short blurbs of important information. It is great for people that don't have much time in their day to read or watch whats going on.
Facebook/Myspace
After reviewing both the Facebook and Myspace pages, I have come across differences and similarities between the two. It seems that both of the social groups allow for supporters as well as places for comments. I came to like Facebook more then Myspace since Facebook allows for a broader interaction with the community. Myspace seems to connect better to the middle and high school patrons, and Fcebook connects the library with college students and adult members of the community.
I have successfully created a Twitter account. It seems like a great way to keep in contact with Friends and Colleagues. As well as receive information from around the world.
MMSCL 2.0
I have began working on Web 2.0. So far it does not seem too difficult. This program will allow the library community to learn the future of computers thus allowing us to assist patrons with their Web 2.0 Endeavors.
